A woman, who spent many years in sexual slavery and gave birth to two children during this time, was found in the basement of a house in the south of Italy. The kidnapper had previously been convicted of a similar crime: in 1995 he received five years in prison for abducting, raping and torturing another woman. In 1999, he was released for good behavior. After his release from prison, he returned home to take care of his sick wife and two children, and was assisted by a 19-year-old Romanian, who would become his second victim. When Giordano's wife died, he offered his assistant support as a guardian and a place to stay - and then locked her in the basement. There, the woman spent the next 10 years.

The victim was constantly chained to a metal rod in a dirty room full of rats and insects, without water and electricity. She said that she was constantly beaten, tortured and repeatedly raped. The police stopped Giordano during the routine patrolling of the track due to the poor condition of his car. In the back seat, they noticed a nine-year-old boy. The child was confused, he was dirty and had all the signs of malnutrition. The police wanted to see the house of Giordano and talk with the mother of the boy. It is reported that they were struck by the stench coming from the premises. As a result, they had to conduct searches in special protective masks. The source of the unpleasant smell was the basement. There the guards of order discovered a 29-year-old captive, bedridden, and a little girl. They were in a room without lights and drainage.

The 52-year-old Italian, who was holding a woman in sexual slavery, was detained. A citizen of Romania during the time of captivity gave birth to a boy who is now nine years old, and a girl is three years old. All the prisoners were dirty and exhausted - the rapist fed the woman and the children with spoiled food. Now the victims are under the care of social services. As it turned out, the Romanian came to Italy many years ago. She helped with housework the wife of a man who later became her tormentor. After the death of his wife, the Italian locked the 19-year-old Roman citizen in the basement, where he beat and raped. The man was charged with rape, unlawful detainment and beatings.
